We are planning to hire two full-time, experienced, energetic sales professionals who are passionate about reducing carbon emissions and delivering cost savings to commercial enterprises and government organizations. 

You will work directly with the founders to help fine tune the direction of our U.S. sales strategy and add to our customer base. We are looking for creative individuals who can sell energy efficiency devices to both commercial and government organizations. The target prospects are customers who can purchase from ten to thousands of devices.

You must have an aptitude for technology as you will need to answer questions about how the energy efficiency devices work.  A background in HVAC, refrigeration, building controls, mechanical engineering or electrical services is a plus.     

To be successful, you will need the ability to work independently, and be hardworking, persistent and a team player. 

Earnings are unlimited with a base salary and an aggressive commission plan. Targeted yearly compensation is $120,000 plus.

 Responsibilities include:

  • Developing your sales plan, executing the plan and adapting as necessary to achieve sales goals
  • Keeping accurate sales activity reports, forecast reports and expense tracking 
  • Collaborating with marketing and other CoolGreenPower team members to accelerate sales
  • Travel within the U.S. as required (e.g., meet prospects, participate in trade shows)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of successful sales experience in a relevant field 
  • A sufficient level of related technical and financial knowledge with the ability to learn quickly
  • Experience working with MS Office and CRM systems.
  • Sales experience or relationships in one or more of the following fields:
    • Commercial energy and environmental solutions
    • Energy efficiency
    • HVAC/R
    • Building management systems
    • DoD, GSA, State and Local government sales
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to foster relationships with the many players in the building systems, financial and energy efficiency realm.

Technical Director

CoolGreenPower is a dynamic and growing Massachusetts-based business that provides energy-efficiency products for commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. Our product line COOLNOMIX® has been shown to deliver 30% energy savings on HVAC/R systems and has been installed by some of the largest brand names in the world. Our U.S. customers include military organizations, state and local government and many commercial businesses.

We are planning to hire a full-time, experienced, energetic Technical Director who is passionate about reducing carbon emissions and delivering cost savings to commercial enterprises and government organizations. The position is intended to provide strong technical leadership for the company.

We are looking for a resourceful problem solver who loves to learn, and is tenacious and intelligent. We are seeking a person with strong verbal and written communication skills. The selected individual will be patient and calm, detail oriented and mature in their approach. The Technical Director will be comfortable occasionally rolling up their sleeves and getting dirty. Experience might include a role as a consultant or contractor working in the HVAC/electrical industry.

Responsibilities include:

  • Full responsibility for the technical performance of the products and how they interact with HVAC and refrigeration systems
  • Project technical leadership including optimizing the performance of the products in new installations
  • Technical support to customers/HVAC technicians installing the product, guiding them through the method of installation and assisting them with commissioning
  • Troubleshooting customer issues to resolution
  • Providing technical input for customer proposals, and other technical documents and manuals required to support customer needs
  • Making technical presentations, providing technical details on the technology
  • Making joint sales calls and attending industry technical meetings and shows to promote the technology
  • Collaborating with marketing, sales and other CoolGreenPower team members to accelerate sales
  • Developing technical specifications for product enhancements
  • Travel within the U.S. as required

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of successful engineering experience in a relevant field. BSME or BSEE desired.
  • Hands on engineering approach with a good understanding of electrical systems and electronics
  • Technical experience in one or more of the following fields:
    • Commercial energy and environmental solutions
    • Energy efficiency
    • HVAC/R
    • Building management systems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
