No-Cost New York State (NYS) Energy Efficiency Retrofit Project for the Small Commercial Sector

NYS Small Commercial Project Overview
The purpose of this project is to demonstrate a 30% reduction in air conditioning electricity consumption and related costs while maintaining occupant comfort. We plan on achieving this by installing a commercial UL-certified supplemental compressor controller (COOLNOMIX) that is retrofit to your existing commercial air conditioning unit.
The project scope includes:
a diagnostic of your AC unit to confirm it is in good working condition
installing equipment to monitor space comfort and AC unit electricity consumption
installing the COOLNOMIX commercial, U:L-certified AC-01 product on your existing AC systems
an analysis report from an independent NYS energy engineering company.
There is a minimal time commitment from the host site. Installation can be scheduled at a date / time that is least disruptive for your business. Your existing service contractor will be trained and compensated for installation or we can recommend another.
To be an eligible host site for this project, your business must receive its electricity from one of these six companies: Con Edison, Central Hudson, National Grid, NYSEG, Orange & Rockland, and RGE.

COOLNOMIX is a compressor-controller retrofit device that can be installed on existing direct expansion cooling systems including packaged rooftop unit (RTUs), split systems, and heat pumps.
When installed, COOLNOMIX immediately boosts the energy efficiency of the system by helping the control system to improve temperature stability and use less compressor runtime.
